SAVI Learning Model in Improving Students' Learning Interest and Thinking Ability in Balaghah Learning

This study aims to determine the effect of SAVI learning model (Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual) on students' interests and critical thinking skills in Balaghah subject at Adnan Al-Charis Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School. used a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental research type non-equivalent control group design. Class A is class 15 students, B experimental students. Data collection methods include observation, questionnaires, tests, documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis descriptive statistics, sample t-test, N-Gain test. From results this study, it was obtained 1) The effective increasing interest learning. independent t-test (2-tailed) < 0.05, which 0.000; 2) less improving skills. result for 59%; 3) There an influence between interest, Sig equal 0.000, while has no skills, > namely 0.903.
